Dr. Cornel Venema, President of Mid-America Reformed Seminary in Dyer, Indiana, is coming out with a new book on the subject of paedocommunion. One of the growing trend in Reformed churches today is the practice of admitting small children to the Lord's Supper. Venema examines whether that is a biblical, confessional, and historical practice of the Reformed churches. It is due out in April. You can pre-order your copy

I'll borrow yours I think.
Not a problem...you're more than welcome to it after I pick it up and read it through.
I want it before Mike - he's got to finish his Body Language book... I've got nothing to read but blog posts...
You guys can arm wrestle for it.
Wow, a special mention for my father-in-law...nice to see people arguing over who gets to read his book first. I bet if you ever wanted a complimentary copy I could ask him for one. I know Joe always gets a copy and it's autographed by him :)
We had the pleasure of interviewing Dr. Venema regarding his book at http://www.reformedforum.org/ctc56.
He was kind enough to give me an autographed copy of his doctoral dissertation when I was at Mid-America last summer. See what you can do, Rachael. I'll send Joe a free quart of oil if you can pull this off :)
